That’s what I thought when I took this picture… (not exactly of course, but that pretty much nailed it). It’s definitely not smart to smoke, or think about taking pictures of it… but I just enjoy it at times and this was the time!
And you’re thinking right about now why would this second, rather then any other second, be the time someone would wanna take a picture of a nasty cigarette burning in an ashtray.
Well it’s May 1st and I just woke up from the most amazing sleep ever!! Granted the night before I was stressing a little. I came to Denver to do some work. I actually had to stash my camera equipment at my buddy Sabs’ and his lady Elysia’s apartment 
…yeah it’s a sick apartment and I didn’t have to be worried about the video gear (at least 5000$) getting stolen out of my windowless truck… Thanks again to whoever did that. Next I had to figure out, was were I was going to rest my head… Why?
Oh because my buddy bud bud “Steven Gritz” had decided that he would stay an extra day in the great city of Salt Lake with some of the SK801 homies. Where the hills are steep and the spots are plenty! I don’t know them that well but we’ve met at premiers and skating; they are down! super down… Colin Brophy is one you couldn’t forget! So, how could you be mad at that… Anyways he felt bad, and I can’t be mad at Chief Two Feather. Plus, I ended up staying in a very comfortable bed!! Thanks Amazing!!
So back to the story… Well you have gotten the procrastination side of it. Steven and the crew decided to stay out there instead of being here Monday like we had planned. So Sabby and I chilled it most of the day!
It was around 10am and I had no where to go no thing to do….
But I wanted to get down on my required work duty for the GBA. I was already downtown…
So I stopped at 15th and Tremont and to my surprise my favorite structure in Denver was still there, like it would go anywhere… A few sneaky maneuvers and bam, twelve stories of inclines right below me!!
So down the twelver I went! It was a great ride, as it is every time.. Call me dumb or lame, but I get a thrill from this especially with cruiser wheels!! So fast!
All the way to the bottom… And I figure might as well go again. I was expecting to get escorted out or told to leave, but I didn’t so the second was another successful speed run! It’s 10:33 and I am thinking might as well be greedy and get another run so I start towards the elevator and good ol’Sabby hits me up so I refrain from my adrenalin binge and turn around to go back to the truck to get to Sabby’s!
Steve’s suppose to be back today so I parked my truck near his place and skated switch, cause my ankle was hurting, to uptown to meet Sabs at his bawlin’ ass apartment (where my video gear is stashed).
after pushing down a fairly smooth road and arriving I decided I would sneak my way up and surprise Sabs at the door! (watch out ladies he’s taken)
and I didn’t edit that finger out of there… He really hates me… Ha!
So let’s go skate!! I say to Sabastian. “I gotta take Charlie out first!” says Sabby. Who is Charlie you ask? It’s the little dog from “Men in Black”…
so Sabby straps up ol’Charlie and we walk down the endless hallways until reaching the portal to the outside world!
Of course, even though he was out earlier in the morning he still had to drain the main vein. (How he would put it, if he talked like the dog in “MIB”)
Again I must reiterate how nice Sabby’s spot is!! It’s BadAss! Also has quite the view…
I learned this after the “walk of Charlie”. You ask how? Well after we had gotten back I was informed about the free coffee on the 6th floor. Yeah, I know…

It’s the first thing I asked, “Is it good?” “It’s better then good…” was Sabby’s reply. So to the sixth floor we venture… 
But we can’t take the elevator, because they lock down when someone is moving in. We took the healthy choice.. The stairs!! But, it was well worth it we got to get some great coffee from the Keurig coffee maker, play some pool (I won), and some shuffle board!!
so after a few cups of coffee and game time… It was time to go skate. We headed back down to grab our boards and say later to Charlie. 
But then we decided we should chill for a minute and learn about “Coronal Mass Ejections with loads the size of Mt. Everest” from the History Channel’s, “How the Universe was Made”.
That only lasted for a little while, well until we were done being childish and stopped laughing about the mass ejections!
We ended up going to Cushing Park, the place you will never go without running into a ICP juggalo or juggalette… 
We skated here for about an hour and a half. I just skated the ramps mostly due to my lame ass ankle/leg problem… But Sabs killed it! Dude was getting runs from the flat bar to this bank and back to the flat bar!! My fav was front lip to fakie (flatbar), fakie frontside flip (bank), and the switch front lip to regs (flatbar)!!
I was amazed at Sabs killer skills considering his knee is F#%CKED. I am sure he was stoked too…. Yeah he was, look at the shit-eating grin on his face!
Well Sabby was done be the best at ICP park, which was surprising there wasn’t one there. Is the ICP population on the decline?? Maybe I will investigate that… Nah.. Not worth it! Let’s eat!!
We head back to the place and drop the skate gear off… Then head to the Un-Safeway. Yeah thats right, the “Un-Safeway”. Let me explain as Sabs explained to me….

is the quote that stood out to me the most. I was thinking, is this where people get the idea for zombies? Well it’s all true… And we entered close to the transition of HOTT girls and rich, snooty people too crazy fucks of every race asking for loot or just prowling around. We went in and my neck was breaking as they say. Yeah, I am just being honest I like to look at art too… I just find art in some things people wouldn’t consider art. But anyway, there were people all over the place and we strolled in to get brats and buns… I had to get cheese to because I love it. Then we strolled out and the transition happened… It was like the geese leaving the feeding pond to go to there resting place or vice versa. We walked out to the parking lot full of bums arguing, people asking for change and drunk people every where, and off that cheap shit… you could smell it in the air. There was even a dude that couldn’t handle the rubbing alcohol and decided to go to sleep.
Well outta there and to the crib to hook up on some dogs! The grill was going and Sabby’s taking the role of top chef and cooking some “stadium style brats” and they were bomb…

Dogs were great and Sabby is off to get rich!!! Yeah that’s what this whole blog is about. Steve procrastinating on getting back and Sabs is raking in the dough working for Steve at his job… Thanks Steve!! Sabs says!!
Well I am off to go to my buddy Marks to chill because Steve’s still not home!!

After chillen at Mark’s till about ten fifteen and I get the call… Steve is home. I head over and there he is… Chief Two Feather, and Tonka; Steve n’ Tyler; Gurt and Tater!
Now to the rest of the weekend!!
